No, i did not file an issue. I think it is a netlist extraction issue. I don't know if replacing the leading 'X' with 'D' is the correct way to let simulation run or a wrapper subcircuiot (containing the diode) should be provided. @Tim Edwards ?

@Matt Venn, @Stefan Schippers: I have a custom addition in open_pdks that adds a subcircuit definition for the diode. It adds it to
sky130_fd_pr__model__r+c.model.spice
. Probably this is all wrong to do and I should change the magic techfile to extract a "D" device and then fix the diode cells in the standard cell libraries.

By "all wrong" I don't mean that there is anything technically wrong with it. It just seems unnecessary.
