@User: I assume you wanted to ask this here? When DIODE_STRATEGY is set to 1, a diode is indeed placed to protect every cell input pin. However, if it's set to 2 (once the openlane configurations are complete on open_pdks), only the minimum number of diodes will be inserted. How this works will be explained in today's talk by Prof. @User, so stay tuned!
