My interpretation of the current framework is that #sky130 is for discussion on the skywater 130nm PDK, which is also kind of the purpose of the whole slack. #general is for general discussion, but gets a lot of auto-generated git traffic. So if #general is for general discussion, I think it would be more functional to keep it free of the git traffic.
