I'm not sure if this breaks any rules, if so I apologise. I'm currently looking for people to join the company I work for. We're looking for someone in early/mid career to work on digital / mixed signal design. We're based in Europe - so EU national is ideal but possibly can explore visa options. If this interests you please send me a DM and we can talk further!

Just out of curiosity, is you company involved in any way with open source tools?
y
Not particularly unfortunately. I am a big proponent of them internally but I can't say it's a focus for the company. Is that the main thing you're interested in?
p
Yea my goal is basically to work on open source chip design tools 🙂 I'm currently working on FPGA stuff at Symbiotic EDA, but the current plan is that next year I'll spend half my time on IC design software. And hopefully get a simple analog chip on the next shuttle, but that's just hobby. I just graduated from my master IC design, so I don't have that much practical experience.
y
That's an admirable goal. More power to you. I'll let you know if I spot anything that could help you out
p
One thing I'm doing is at the moment is interviewing IC designers about their work, to learn more about their workflows and challenges, so the user experience of my software can address those 😉

I can have a chat about that with you. Pretty busy right now but we could schedule something in a week or two?
