This is probably an ngspice question but someone here may know: we are simulating huge power transistors, and we use the "mult" property of the transistor. From a comment by @Jørgen Kragh Jakobsen, this may not be a good modelling approach since mult may not scale properly the transistor properties, and it may be better to place single parallel elements. I tried some simulations and I do see some differences, but very small (isolated, not in the context of our DCDC converter). I was wondering if anyone here faced this issue before, and had any comments. Also, I would like to know if it's possible to use the bus notation like what is done in Virtuoso, i.e. MN<0:N> to place N + 1 transistors in parallel. I tried but it doesn't seem to work, do you know how to do this?
