Hi, I want to draw the layout of NMOS with top-gate contact (finger=6). So, based on the setting (attached here), I should have NMOS with top gate contact, but there are both the top and bottom gate contact. Do you know how I can solve this issue? Thanks

I have also used multi-finger transistors in my designs. I just edited these standard layouts to meet my custom requirements...

Thank you for your reply. But before I could draw top gate contact transistors. (Attached here) Did you mean you used the "e" key to edit the layout? Thanks

Ah I see! Yes, I edited with "e", but I needed a custom configuration (e.g. 2 fingers facing up and 4 facing down)

@sepide asgari: The script that draws the gates does not know how to connect all gates together (there's no option for it), and there isn't room to draw separate gate connections for every transistor at that transistor length unless they switch between top and bottom. The trick here is that you can edit the parameterized cell. So you can change the layout to be whatever you want. The caveat is that if you ever (after manually editing) use the parameterized device GUI window to change parameters on that device, it will redraw the whole device and you will lose your edits. Otherwise, there's no particular issue with making your own edits to the parameterized device layout.
