As we close the year, we are thrilled to share an exciting milestone: the growing adoption of RISC-V boards "Made in India" by Indian colleges and students! This movement marks the beginning of a remarkable shift in India’s semiconductor education landscape, and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it. The report below exclusively captures data for VSDSquadron boards (both main and mini), used across colleges in various states. It’s heartwarming to see Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and others leading the way in embracing RISC-V for Semiconductor Chip Design and RISC-V education. This is a true testament to the vision of making India self-reliant in technology development. For VSD, 2024 has been a year of experiments and learning. With this strong foundation laid, we look forward to expanding our reach to more colleges and states in 2025, strengthening the vision of "Semiconductor education for all."
