It's due to the narrow device length; there is not enough room for separate gate contacts, and I did not work up an option for merging the gate contacts together, so instead it alternates between top and bottom. The best option here is probably to hand-edit the cell. Just make sure that you don't hit "Apply" on the parameterized device menu after that, or else your edits will be lost.
