Hi All. I see pretty good documentation w.r.t antenna rules on the SKY130 doc page. I haven't gone into layout in this process yet but I guess this means antenna violations are checked for in the DRC deck? When a violation is flagged are there specific antenna diodes available or do we just use standard ones? Thanks

@Diarmuid Collins For the sky130 process, openroad uses the
sky130_fd_sc_hd__diode_2
standard cells for antenna diodes.

Thanks @Mitch Bailey. Is there a reason this diode is used over other available diodes e.g. diode_pw2nd_05v5 from lib sky130_fd_pr? If openroad uses it I guess then antenna violations are flagged in the DRC deck?

sky130_fd_sc_hd__diode_2
is a standard cell that contains
diode_pw2nd_05v5
.
diode_pw2nd_05v5
is a discrete device; openroad does not handle discrete devices.
