Here’s a repost of the link to the signup sheet for Chipathon projects. https://open-source-silicon.slack.com/archives/C072ZFE19FH/p1721827181501499 Some people have added their names to specific designs. Please be sure to add your contact information to the
Groups
sheet also.

Hi, could someone please explain how this is supposed to work? Are we restricted to making the designs mentioned in the
Exhaustive Pcell List
sheet or can we make any circuit we want to? Is the
Exhaustive Pcell List
for people who are working on that specific cell and we can borrow the layout/design from them to use in all of our projects ? If anyone could please explain how the sheet is structured, it would be great.

@mehdi is best positioned to answer this.

The list we have there is a proposed set of cells that can be used in many designs. You are free to make your own cells. The idea though is not to make a huge block because the code becomes overly overwhelming. You can add to that list and tag me on there if you have doubts. We can also schedule presentations of what each team plans to do. I ll make an announcement soon.

The Chipathon 2024 project signup sheet has been updated with the following explanation on the Groups sheet. Please let us know if you have any questions. 1. Please review the Chipathon contributor guidelines. 2. Group leads should request edit access. 3. Once you have access, you can modify the Groups sheet. 4. Please choose one or more circuits from the Pcell Spreadsheet for Contributors sheet. 5. Multiple groups are encouraged to choose the same simple cells (2-48). 6. For more complicated cells (50+), we ask that only one team be assigned. Remember, the goal is to create complex circuits from automated parameterized subcells. 7. The other sheets, Exhaustive Pcell List, Cell Selection & Assignment, Add topologies sheets are for reference only. 8. You may add comments to the Pcell Spreadsheet for Contributors sheet, but please do not make direct changes.
