Hello everyone, I'm new to Cadence Virtuoso and want to create an inductor from scratch. I have frequency and S11 data (magnitude and phase). Is it possible to import this data into Cadence? If so, what steps should I take, please?

There is component called
nport
in
analogLib
which can be used to import s-parameter data in virtuoso and simulate it.

You can do inductor layout and then import it into a EM simulator. In previous classes I had taken we used a EM simulator to design our inductors and then imported the values into our virtuoso designs.

Thanks for responding guys@vks & @Evan Merkel. This helped me a lot.. but im still facing some challenges..
I have the data from Sonnet software, but the data file is not in the same format as the SP file. I tried to convert it to the correct format, but I encountered an error during simulation: "an error on line 2: syntax error."
So I tested simulating with an exported S-parameter file from Cadence, but I encountered the same error.
Could you please check with me if there is something I should consider?
