Hi guys, i am confused, shall I use Ubuntu Virtual machine to install the tools or shall I go with WSL ??

WSL has lesser overhead, so in terms of performance WSL should be better.

In my opinion, just dual boot. Quicker and less problems.

I have used WSL 1 and 2 both. WSL 2 is pretty good and stable now. Still the GUI support has scope to improve. Ubuntu virtual machine is the best. If any issue arises you are sure that it is not because of WSL 🙂 so, peace of mind. And ease of windows and linux side by side. Dual boot does not give you this flexibility. Oracle VirtualBox + Ubuntu 24.04 LTS is the way to go.
