Hi, I am just using xschem and now I can't seem to draw wires that go on to the center of contacts for various mosfet terminals and things don't seem properly spaced. I have set the grid to default 20 and snap to 10 but when I draw a wire from say the drain of an NMOS, it goes beside it, not on top of it. What I am doing wrong?

Is the grid visible?

yes it was visible upon zooming out using the scroll wheel. I restarted Xschem like two times and that seems to have fixed the problem. Though I have no idea what caused this in the first place

@Koustubh You changed the snap value (the coordinates where the mouse snaps) and your symbol placements are off grid.
1. click in the SNAP textbox in the bottom status bar, set a value of 10 (if not already 10)
2. press Ctrl-a to select everything
3. go to Tools -> Align to grid
4. check the schematic for missing connections, if needed redraw some wires or reposition some objects.
