I want to run DRC on GDS in klayout for sky130 pdk. Any help on how this can be done? There are several ways mentioned on slack but its still not clear.

@vks I recommend looking in the mpw_precheck repo. There are batch setups for running DRC on gds with klayout there.

@Mitch Bailey I am facing issue during precheck submission in FEOL , BEOL and OFFGRID errors. Want to correct them directly on GDS. Any suggestions how can I run klayout drc directly on my GDS ?

@vks was the gds originally created from magic or klayout or some other tool? Do you want to run klayout drc in the editor or in batch?

@Mitch Bailey Original layout was done in Magic. But during precheck I get FEOL , BEOL , OFFGRID errors on submitted GDS and their respective xml report can only be checked in Klayout. After making necessary modifications I want to run DRC in klayout itself ( editor or batch, anyone will work) and check if errors still exist. Now I have to submit layout to precheck and then download XML reports to analyze errors. Want to do that check locally by running DRC checks locally in Klayout. I hope it will also do FEOL,BEOL, OFFGRID checks ?
