IN PERSON EVENT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA - USA:
Have you ever wondered how computer chips are made? IEEE@UCI, in collaboration with IEEE Region 9 (Latin America and the Caribbean) and IEEE’s Electron Devices Society, will host a one-day workshop that will teach you the magic behind microelectronic design (Very Large Scale Integration - VLSI) used to manufacture chips. Participate in the workshop, and you can see your own chip design come to life – we've got you covered if your design is selected!
Spots are limited, so RSVP as soon as you can!
Disclaimer: This workshop is beginner-friendly, but fast-paced. The best designs will be selected for manufacturing. Please bring a laptop with a mouse.
Topics covered:
· Open Source Digital Design Tools: Wokwi
· Microfabrication and transistors
· Boolean Algebra, Truth Tables
