Is tiny tapeout discord a better place to ask newb Qs about analog design? Invite link?

Howdy Luke! If you go to https://tinytapeout.com and the “GET STARTED” section, I think you will find the Discord invite link under that. I had suggested going there for some tips and because there are some people who’ve started to attempt/share similar starting points, plus there is some discussion about the practical side of putting everything together using the OpenLane/Magic flow.

I keenly welcome anyone else though who can provide other advice here on how to build up quickly both on practical VLSI analog designs and getting them right for sky130. I know there are a few efabless YouTube videos and the bminch videos are good too, but any other “learn by example” stuff that’s up-to-date would be great to pool :)

@Luke Harold Miles i am also in the process of following up with Ellen. I think that guide is more about how to patch together a mixed signal design where the analog part is already a laid-out macro, but I’m sure that will still be quite important and useful :)

Not sure if you've seen it already, btw, but there is a new independently-released video Matt Venn pointed me to which might be useful:
