If I understood correctly, JS Foundry in Japan just announced that they’re open sourcing some of their pdks. 0.3um~2um CMOS, 0.35um~0.8um BCM, etc.

The announcement was made during part of a presentation at the 4th Open-source EDA Forum today. I haven’t seen any online link regarding the announcement.

Looks like this was my misunderstanding. They said they will release they will release a PDK usable with open-source tools, but the PDK itself still requires an NDA. 😭 Sorry for the confusion.
