12/05/2023, 10:16 PMMost of it, honestly. The IP is expensive or you’ll have to design it in house. In house is very expensive which is how IP companies can get away with some of the things prices they charge.
Now if you’re doing all the design work, and using chipignite you could get away with something on the cheap side. There is a fair amount of open source verilog out there, but not much GDSII yet.
