@Stefan Schippers After installed xschem v3.4.5 yesterday, Annotate OP launcher points all saved currents in the schematic but show each node voltage as zero. Even though the launcher includes "set show_hidden_texts 1; xschem annotate_op" and in the view tab show/hide show hidden texts is enabled, the node voltage is illustarated 0. Does this come with the new version or I need to enable something else?
s
Ensure '`save all`' is present before running the
op
statement. Also ensure voltage sources have a defined time 0 value, like:
vxxx n1 n2 dc 5
or:
vxxx n1 n2 pwl 0 5 10n 5 11n 0
r
I had 'save all' before 'op '., but it does not work. My design screen is below
s
Can you please send the
1_nmos_vgs.sch
schematic? will do a test here. Also click on the
annotate op
symbol, press '`q`' and verify the raw file it is loading is the
1_nmos_vgs.raw
you have created in the simulation. It looks like you are loading a raw file from another circuit or another simulation.

file is here

I tested your example, it works out of the box, I have tested both with current upstream xschem 3.4.5 and also with the released 3.4.4 version. Try to update another time xschem, may be you got a commit with a bug. Also let me know what is the ngspice version. I have ngspice-41+ (it is shown in the first lines after launching ngspice).

I installed ngspice 41 the day before yesterday. I will try to reinstall it again. Thank you for your help.
s
@rumaz if ngspice s recent you don't need to update/reinstall it. May be xschem since after 3.4.4 release it is in a development phase. I do my best to guarantee each commit is fully working, but who knows. If you can try to rebuild xschem.
