VSDSquadron, now powered by RISCDUINO: Leading the Charge in Semiconductor Skilling Today marks an incredible milestone for VSDSquadron - we're now officially powered by RISCDUINO! As we bask in this euphoric moment, we can't help but look back at the incredible journey that led us here. For the first time ever, our board and chip have been built using entirely open-source EDA tool chain and open-source PDKS. When we say "entirely," we truly mean it. Imagine the freedom - simply git, clone, and voila, you too can create your very own chip and board. This marvel stands as a testament to global collaboration. Designed with pride in India, VSDSquadron's latest addition is not just for us – it’s for the entire world. In the process of creation, we were often reminded of a profound thought: "Great products are not the result of a brilliant individual, but of a collective soul burning with a shared dream." Every hiccup, every triumph, every late-night brainstorming session was proof of this. It's taken years, dedication, and unwavering commitment to reach today's success. At this momentous juncture, we owe a heartfelt shoutout to every single entity that stood by us. Their belief in us has been the foundation upon which this dream was built. First and foremost, a standing ovation to our passionate team: @Dinesh A, @Yatharth Agarwal and @*Vishvesha*. Their relentless drive and determination over the past months have been nothing short of inspiring. Their commitment to enhance the semiconductor community is unparalleled. The collaboration of VSDSquadron with RISCDUINO - a dual core RISC-V based SoC - promises to revolutionize the landscape of IOT, Agritech, and Sensor based applications. The fruits of their labor will soon be evident as full chip documentation is on its way. Our gratitude also extends to the champions of open-source: efabless, The OpenROAD Project, Skywater Technologies, and Google. Their vision of providing the world with an open-source toolchain and the open-source 130nm PDKs has been the wind beneath our wings. Special mentions to @mkk Mohamed Kaseem, @Michael Wishart , @Tim Edwards , @Tim 'mithro' Ansell, @Matt Venn, @Steve Kosier, @Indira Iyer, @Matt Liberty and Prof @Andrew Kahng. Working alongside such luminaries has been both an honor and a learning experience. As we step into this exciting new chapter, we're filled with hope and anticipation. Together, as a community, the potential for what we can achieve is limitless. Stay tuned for more exhilarating updates from VSDSquadron. Here's to breaking barriers and creating together!
