hello i posting as a new request as situation is changed.. i just want to add a SYNTH_RETIME as a config varible,or any *if statemnt in synth.tc*l of openlane*,*which ask user whether to do retime or not,so that i can do retiming just by passing true for the SYnTH_RETIME.i am imitating SYNTH_AUTONAME. i tried addding block of statements in tcl file,,im not sure the way im going ,,,plz guide me.

What is the solution?

i even defined that new variable in synthesis.tcl and set to 0 by default. and also i passed write_verilog as the results should reflect in this way if happend.
