I have started to design again for the next MPW/Chipignite shuttle. After cloning the latest caravel repo I found 3 extra files in openlane/user_proj_example. They are base_user_proj_example.sdc drc_exclude.cells no_synth.cells When I create my own macro and harden it should I copy it to my project? If yes, do I need to change anything in those files?

Hello @Lab Lecture . No you don't need to copy these files, they're specific for the counter example. the

base_user_proj_example.sdc

though could be useful, it is a custom sdc file, that has timing data specific for the counter example, you could take it and cater it to your specific needs. The others are just exclude lists for cells in synthesis and design optimization, which is specific for the counter and shouldn't be used.
