Is it possible to array instances and connections in xschem? And if so, how do you connect all VSS instances to a common net for example?

Thank you @Stefan Schippers this looks like exactly the thing I'm looking for. I have an array of cells some of the pins of which need to be connected to the same net and some of which need to connect to specific indexes of an array of wires. Sorry I didn't find this in the manual myself earlier

You are welcome. A connection of a symbol with a bussed terminal like shown in picture is perfectly ok, Upper 3 bits of the bus are tied to vss.
