Does anyone have any experience with patent / intellectual property / consumer tech company sales / valuations? I have a founder I’m working with who has a patent for a specific type of computer mouse design (similar to a logitech) the values I’m finding on these patents are insane ($50-100M?) Is this accurate? Who would be good to talk to on this? DMs welcome 🙏

A patent is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Sounds like a glib answer but it's the truth. Some are worthless because they provide no utility in the marketplace, some are worth 100 millions because they can make very profitable products. It entirely depends on who wants to buy/license the patent and what they'll pay for it
