I think the MPW3 is cursed, no one talks about it. 😁 It was going to be shipped soon and now there are some packaging issues. ☹️

Perhaps it is cursed. The assembler mounted some parts at random rotated 180 degrees. Which goes back to the company doing the bump bonding telling us they couldn't do marking on the backside of the chip. Anyway, it's nothing major, but we had to get the assembly done over.

Oh so bad. I can’t wait anymore. ☹️
One question just came to my mind, is it legally possible for the company to say it is none of my business? I mean shouldn’t the assembler company take the responsibility of the issue?
After all, thanks a lot @Tim Edwards. You and @Matt Venn are the best and most responsible people in efabless, TBH.

Legally speaking, Google paid for the open-MPW runs, so we have pretty limited leverage to tell the various vendors to speed it up or provide additional services.

Got it.
As always, thank you so much. 🙏🏻

In which axis was the 180 degree rotation? upside/down? If it was planar rotation, then I would suggest a more asymmetric pinout to make the correct orientation easier, in case you ever redesign the Caravel.
