on the xschem_sky130 top page incorrectly used tt_mm
corner, which is used for montecarlo simulation. I have corrected it one month ago to use tt
corner.
Replace tt_mm
with tt

will stop when starting simulation in batch mode. If you do 'jobs' in the terminal where xschem is started you see the process is stopped. If you put the job in foreground (fg) simulation will start. I will investigate and fix this.Stefan Schippers

05/13/2022, 8:57 AMset editor { xterm -e vim }
It sort of works. It still somehow messes with the xschem .sch format by
inserting one more newline than required. But otherwise its fine.
But since i don't really like to use xterm i tried this instead:
set editor { gnome-terminal -- vim }
It opens the editor but no data is loaded into the editor.
I use xschem Version 3.0.0
Any ideas?Stefan Schippers
05/13/2022, 8:41 PMOPTIONS
-e, --command=STRING
Execute the argument to this option inside the terminal.
-x, --execute
Execute the remainder of the command line inside the terminal.
So my suggestion is to try -e
or -x
, as done with xterm.Rahul Panwar

05/14/2022, 6:36 PM.spiceinit
file into the directory where ngspice is working (usually ~/.xschem/simulations) with following content:
set ngbehavior=hsa
set ng_nomodcheck
If you want to further speed up by 4x use this element to load only one corner: sky130_fd_pr/corner.sym
Unfortunately ngspice spends considerable time loading unused process corners, something I don't really understand why, but we have to live with that.Stefan Schippers
