I understand the fact here that the sky130_fd_sc_hd__clkbuf_4
module is instantiated here so, I tried adding the path to the verilog file containing this module as follows: glob /home/merlproj/backend-tools/pdks/sky130A/libs.ref/sky130_fd_sc_hd/verilog/sky130_fd_sc_hd.v
, but as this verilog file itself contains multiple `include statements the flow didn't proceed further and gave an error as shown in third image. Can you please guide on how to proceed further. Thanksmshalan

My question is which value is recommended on which design? How should I decide the value of CELL_PAD? @Usertnt

I am not designing my own cells or modifying the ones provided in the Skywater libs. Does anyone know how these are caused or how to address them? My design is all HDL. This is with rc4
of the open lane repo, running in docker.drr

11/14/2020, 11:03 AMCORE_UTIL
. What I do not understand is:
1. Why does it change the DIEAREA?
2. Why does it change the COREAREA?
3. Why does it change the number of COMPONENTS.
As far as I understand, changing utilization should just define how much of the given core area[which should be independent of the core utilization factor] would be utilized for placing the cells. It does not make sense to change the core area or die area altogether with the change of Core Utilization. @User @Usertnt
